As we have prepared to meet our little girl, we wanted to make sure that we celebrated every step of the journey. One of the things that I was really nervous about was taking maternity pictures. I have never been fully comfortable taking pictures, but especially in a state where I haven't always felt the most beautiful, it was hard for me to want to take pictures.
But, boy am I glad that we did! These pictures are so special to me and represent a beautiful time in our lives. Each of these pictures perfectly captures our little family right now and I am so grateful for these images. We had them taken by Aurora Henry with Soulful Snapshots Photography in Lorena and we love these images.
One of the most special things for us from this shoot was that I wore the necklace we bought after the miscarriage to remember our sweet baby in heaven. It was a surreal and special thing to have that reminder as we celebrated sweet Ellesyn.
Hopefully soon, I will post pictures of the nursery!

Cantwell Wedding Weekend
A few weekends ago, Ty and I were able to celebrate Julie and Michael's wedding! I was in the wedding, so we went down to Ft. Worth on Saturday and spent the day with Grace and Billy. After rehearsal dinner, Grace and I had a little sleep over while Ty and Billy went out to the Beacham's house for some guy time. Sunday was beautiful and it was a fabulous day! We loved celebrating with friends and are blessed by the Cantwell's!

S.N.A.C at the Nelson's house and Lewis's house
Woah. Where did summer go? We are almost ready for August to be here, and it seems like just yesterday, we were watching my sweet sister graduate college (check out that post here!). I am so ready for August because it will be full of exciting things in our lives: Ty's birthday, my graduation from graduate school, beginning a job as a High School Teacher...lots to look forward to!
We are, though, enjoying what little bit of summer we have left. A few weeks ago, we went to the Nelson's house for S.N.A.C and this last Wednesday we went to the Lewis's house! Both were so much fun and involved lots of swimming for our kiddos. We have so much enjoyed being able to bond with others in the church through this and I truly cannot wait to do this again next summer!
Last week we had Vacation Bible School at our church and I am very excited about how it went! Lindsey and I have been planning and preparing for months, and it was great seeing it all come together! Be looking for a post about that soon!
Also, on a completely different note, I am graduating from Graduate school next weekend!! I cannot wait! I received this email last week:
and it made everything so much better! All of my hard work is paying off and I cannot wait to spend the day with all our family and friends!
Until Next Time,

S.N.A.C at the Plemon's house and Youth Service Dinner
This summer has gone by so quickly! Ty and I have been so busy with classes, work, youth get togethers, fundraisers....all the fun things that take place in summer! A few weeks ago, we were able to go out to the Plemon's house for some good ol' fun playing horseshoes, washers, swimming in the creek and just enjoying the beautiful day! We have been so blessed with some fabulous people to serve with and we greatly enjoyed our time with them! Our kids enjoyed it too, once they learned how to play horseshoes and washers!
Each summer, we do fundraisers to help our youth pay for camp. This year, we were blessed by our church and raised so much money, that we didn't need to do our last fundraiser to pay for camp! So, instead, we turned it into a thank you dinner and let the youth serve our church. It was beautiful to see our students serving others with such grateful hearts! It made this minister's wife proud! We truly have fabulous kids and I appreciate their willingness to serve and love others!
So, as you can see, our lives have been crazy busy, but filled with such joy at the same time! Ty is coming home from youth camp today (yay!) and so we will update you all soon about the week they spent there!
