Front Door Makeover

This week, Ty is gone for youth camp. I made myself a to-do list for while he was gone of some things that I have been wanting to get done. One of which was the front entry. Our apartment is small and somewhat dreary, so I wanted to do something to make it more inviting.

Today, we received some sad news as well as have been stuck with yucky, rainy weather. So, this little project kept my spirits up and helped to brighten this upsetting day. Hope you enjoy the pictures of my latest project! All together, I spent about $50 on supplies. I will detail that more below!

Flowers! These were all on sale at Lowe's so I spent a total of $15!

See? Not pretty, not inviting.

Everything laid out waiting to paint!

The decorations for the wreath. Total, the wreath cost about $25. The wood frames are for another post later this week!

Ta-Da!! Look at the new entry!

I think the owl is my favorite! It was at Ross for $6.

Again. The rug was also from Ross for about $7.

So excited for our new porch! Small spaces CAN be fun!

Welcome to the Gist home!
