Ellesyn's Newborns!

When we found out that we were having a baby, one of the first things I did was plan for her newborns! This was something that I have looked forward to and love seeing of all my friends and their babies. We chose to go with Aurora Henry in Lorena (Soulful Snapshots Photography) and we were blown away by these beautiful pictures! Anyone who knows Ellesyn knows that she isn't still for very long, nor does she sleep that long (even as a newborn) so I wasn't hopeful when I realized that she would need to do both =) But Aurora was amazing and took some beautiful pictures that I will cherish forever! There weren't many props that we brought with us, but the things we did mean the world to us.

Ty's Bible: when we went to the hospital, we took Ty's bible and when Ellesyn was born, we had her footprint placed in his bible by the verse we have selected as our prayer for her (Deuteronomy 31:6) The pictures of her with his bible are some of the sweetest and I have big plans for a canvas of one of those for Ty's office!

My baby blanket with Granddaddy Wayne's shirt: When my granddaddy Wayne died, my aunt took his old shirts and made pillows of them and every kid and grandkid got to pick one out. That pillow is extremely special to me: everytime I see it, I am reminded of my granddad! My baby blanket was made by my grandma Anne (Wayne's wife) and was my constant companion as a child. In fact, my grandma made Ellesyn a rainbow heart blanket too as a gift! Anyways, Ellesyn is also our rainbow baby and so I knew that I also wanted to combine all of this into a picture somehow and the ones that Aurora captured are fabulous!

So, enough of me, here are the pictures! I realize it is slightly picture overload, but she's pretty perfect =)
