At the end of March, we hosted our youth boys for DiscipleNow and let me tell you, it is not as easy to be a host home when you have a bunch of rowdy boys! We loved having our sweet boys with us, but we definitely were excited to get some sleep once they left! God is really doing some great stuff with our kids and we are so excited to be a part of it all!
We are waiting (not so patiently!) for my sister to have her baby! We are ready to have a new niece/nephew and cannot wait to shower this baby with love. This is the first time that Ty will be able to know a niece or nephew from birth, so I'm pretty pumped.
Recently, Ty has hurt his ankle, which has really hindered what he/us are able to do! When you can't walk or carry things, life becomes instantly more complicated. He goes back to the doctor on May 6 (prayers are always welcome!) and we will see if he is healing well or if there is something else that we need to do be doing.
I am planning on finishing my graduate degree at the end of the summer (yay!) and I am BEYOND ready to be done with school! I have had a couple of job interviews and Ty and I are really praying about where I need to be. With him still at seminary, Waco is our ideal location, but we are really trying to seek the Lord's guidance as I work to find a job!
