One Year Anniversary!

This past weekend, my wonderful husband and I celebrated our first year of marriage! Honestly, the time has flown by! Over the course of the year, we have travelled to new places, seen some great movies, had many deep and wonderful conversations, both started our graduate degrees, loved on some wonderful youth, and so much more. I could not have asked for a more loving, devoted, Christ following husband and I am so blessed daily by his love, guidance and support. Although we have had our fair share of "bad" moments, he loves me and continues to choose me as his wife. I am blessed that he is mine.

We went to stay at his parents house in Rio for the weekend while they went back to college days and stayed at our apartment (I still feel bad that they had to stay there....we definitely got the better end of the deal! ha!) On Friday night, we went to eat at a local Rio place, Roughneck's and enjoyed some great burgers! We went home and after some relaxing conversation in the hot tub, decided to watch Star Wars (my husband just found out I have never seen any of them but the 3rd one!) Saturday we enjoyed a trip to the zoo in Ft. Worth and just talked about all the things we have enjoyed with each other over the past year. Finally, we came home to eat dinner with his parents and watch Gangster Squad.

Again, we had a great and quite weekend just enjoying being together. We have been so blessed in our first year of marriage....we cannot wait to see what else is in store!

Ice Cream at Baskin Robbin's before heading to Rio!

Beautiful Tree!

My sweet hubby!

New babies! I went somewhat baby crazy after seeing this little guy =)

Isn't he great! Love him!

Dippin Dots...one day this will no longer be ice cream of the future, but Ice cream of the present

Ty desperately wanted a picture with the lion...this is the best I could do.

My Best friend just got back from Australia and this made me think of her!

A blue Macaw (Like Blue in Rio...love that movie!)

Beautiful!

Sweet man.

One year down, and a lifetime more to enjoy!
Until next time!
